HPAT preparation courses are run throughout Ireland leading up to the HPAT. A typical HPAT Course Dublin will include: HPAT focused lectures, advice tips and strategies to ace the HPAT, a practice HPAT exam with results and feedback as well as many additional resources for HPAT preparation such as trial HPAT papers, practice HPAT questions, HPAT guides and HPAT drills accessible for Irish students.
Studying Medicine in Ireland has become extremely competitive. The competition for places in Medicine courses is fierce which makes the HPAT score particularly important in addition to students' LC Points. The HPAT makes up about one third of the entry requirements for Medicine and Health Sciences in Ireland, with the remaining two thirds consisting of LC Points. This means that success in the HPAT is a MUST if students wish to study at highly ranked institutions in Ireland such as the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI GALWAY), Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), Trinity College Dublin (TCD), University College Cork (UCC) and University College Dublin (UCD).
Dublin HPAT courses and lectures are facilitated by experienced HPAT educators with the assistance of students who aced the HPAT and will cover various techniques and skills required to answer questions in all three sections of the HPAT exam. In addition to an in depth analysis of past HPAT questions and examples from sections 1, 2 and 3, the HPAT lectures in Dublin will provide students with the opportunity to ask questions as the sessions are very interactive. The additional resources provided through the Dublin HPAT courses allow students to implement the skills they have learned and practice them in the time leading up to the HPAT exam in July.
The Dublin HPAT courses are generally offered at Griffith College, and will generally be held on weekends or school holidays and run for two full days (9am-5pm), so that they are accessible for all students.
