Test session bookings for HPAT 2025 are now available!
Full instructions on how to register and book a HPAT 2025 test session are available in the 2025 HPAT Information Booklet.
HPAT 2025 will take place online from Friday 14 February to Monday 17 February, over various timeslots. Students with technical issues will be able to test after this testing window, until 23 February.
To sit HPAT 2025, you will need to:
- Visit the CAO website and obtain a CAO application number
- Visit the ACER website and follow the instructions to register for HPAT 2025
- Visit the ProctorU website to register an account and then select your preferred testing session
Here are three tips for choosing your perfect HPAT 2025 testing session:
1. Book your test as soon as possible
Each date and timeslot will have limited availability due to the need for proctors (test supervisors) for each candidate sitting the HPAT. Registering and booking your HPAT slot early will help ensure you can secure the date and time that suits you best. Remember, popular dates and times do book out!
2. Carefully choose your HPAT testing time
HPAT 2025 testing will take place over various timeslots. When deciding which testing time to choose, consider what will suit you best. For example, if you work best in the mornings, choose a morning slot. If you work better in the afternoons, select an afternoon slot.
Note that ProctorU may occasionally see high test volume periods, mainly from 9:00am to 3:00pm. If you would like to prevent delays in commencing your test, you should plan to sit your test outside of these busy periods.
3. Double check your testing time and timezone
After booking your timeslot with ProctorU, ensure you double check your testing time and timezone. You do not want to be in a situation where you have accidentally chosen an incorrect timezone and need to sit the test overnight!
ACER provides you with the opportunity to reschedule your HPAT testing date. However, if you leave your registration too late, there is likely to be very limited HPAT testing places available.
Ensure you have practiced and are comfortable using the ACER HPAT online platform before your test! You can try MedEntry's free diagnostic exam which exactly replicates the live HPAT.
