HPAT Results to be released in mid-June

ACER has announced that HPAT-Ireland results will now be released in mid-June. Candidates will receive an email when results are available, as is the case each year.
Normally, HPAT-Ireland results are released in late-June each year. ACER initially announced that HPAT-Ireland results would be delayed until August. This was in response to the government’s announcement that Leaving Certificate examinations would be postponed until August, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Leaving Certificate 2020 has been postponed further and the decision has been made to offer students calculated grades. The conventional Leaving Certificate examination will be held at a later date – potentially in late 2020 or early 2021. Students will have the option to sit this if they are unhappy with their calculated grades. Due to this change, ACER has now announced that HPAT-Ireland results will be released in mid-June.
Calculated grades and CAO offers are planned to be provided to candidates as close as possible to normal timelines (usually released in August) to allow students to take up offers before the start of the new academic year.
