This blog contains information for how to interpret your HPAT statement of results.   What do the numbers on the Statement of Results mean? Your HPAT Statement of Results will display two measures of your performance: HPAT score and HPAT percentile.  Your overall HPAT score is a weighted sum of your three section scores. HOW ARE HPAT RESULTS CALCULATED? Unfortunately ACER does not release the marking scheme that is used determine HPAT scores. There is some speculation as to the following: answering a question correctly that is not answered correctly by the majority of HPAT candidates will be weighted more heavily. And conversely, answering a question incorrectly that most HPAT candidates do answer correctly, will be weighted more heavily against a candidate’s HPAT score. What are the changes for the HPAT exam in 2014? One of the most significant changes to the HPAT exam for 2014 will be a change in the weighting of the HPAT sections. The non-verbal reasoning section of the HPAT will have a reduced weighting of 20% down from 33.3%.
