Groups

This is for students who purchase the Platinum package as a group of 2 or more. If you have at least one friend who purchases a group package and joins your group, you'll each receive a significant discount off your package.

Please note that each member of your group must place an individual order, and must pay individually.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Paying your share will give you instant access to the LMS, however you will be unable to book your workshop until all group members have paid.
  • Any group member is able to invite more people to join the group.
  • Once you leave a group, you will be unable to re-join the group unless invited.
  • Each group member is individually able to purchase any extras.

Please note that group discounts cannot be obtained retrospectively, that is, if you purchase the standard Platinum package and later find a group, you will not be able to obtain a group discount/refund.

A group must consist of at least 2 members (you and at least one other), you can however, invite more friends up to the group maximum of fifteen.

  1. Register or Login to the MedEntry site.
  2. Click on Shop -> View Available Products.
  3. Add a Platinum package for groups to your cart.
  4. Select any additional addons and proceed to the checkout (you do not need to select the same addons as your other group members).
  5. Complete the payment process.
  6. Once your purchase is complete you will receive an email containing the purchase information and your order number.
  7. Congratulations, you should now have full access to the MedEntry LMS.

You will need to be invited to and join a group to be able to book you place in one of our two day workshops.

In order to join your friends who have already purchased the Platinum package for groups:

  1. Your friend must invite you via email to join their group, using your EXACT MedEntry registered email address
  2. Purchase a Platinum package for groups. You can add extra items to your cart without affecting the group (e.g. extra 5 exams)
  3. Click the Groups button
  4. Click the Join an Existing Group button and enter the group number sent to you in the invitation email.

NOTE: You can only join a group if your registered email address is identical to the email address used to invite you to the group.

If you haven't purchased a Platinum package for groups, you wont be able to join the group.

You can join a group once you have been invited to the group and your purchase has been finalised.

 

To join a group:

1) Click the appropriate link (as listed below) on the emailed invitation you received:

a. Register with MedEntry

i. This will enable you to register with the MedEntry site. You must enter the exact email address that the person has used to invite you to their group.

ii. Once registered, proceed to make your ‘Platinum Package‘with the ‘Group Discount Platinum IE’ option. See the FAQ ‘How do I purchase a Group Package’

b. Purchase your Package

i. If you have already registered with the MedEntry site, this will enable you to purchase your ‘Platinum Package' with the ‘Group Discount Platinum IE’ option. See the FAQ ‘How do I purchase a Group Package’

c. Join Your Group

i. If you have already registered and purchased the ‘Platinum Package‘ with the ‘Group Discount Platinum IE’ option, this link will automatically place you into your group.

2) Once you have purchase has been finalised, click on the ‘View Groups’ icon on the ‘My MedEntry’ page.

3) Click on ‘Join a Group’

4) Enter the Group Number you received via the email invitation.

No, the date and location of the two day workshop can vary between group members. Remember that you will be unable to book your workshop until all group members have paid.

1) Log in to 'My MedEntry' on the MedEntry homepage.

2) Click on ‘Groups’.

Your current group members will be visible on this page. You can invite more friends, and delete invited members on this page by clicking the appropriate buttons.

  • Please check that the email address used to invite you is the same as your registered MedEntry email address. If the email address is different, please have the group owner, cancel the incorrect invitation and re-invite you with the correct email address.
  • All group members must first be registered on the MedEntry website. Members can then login into My MedEntry, click on "Groups", then "Join an Existing Group" and enter the group number received in the email.
  • If you are already in one group, you cannot join another one in the same HPAT exam year.
  • If you don't have a Platinum package for groups, you wont be able to join a group.

You'll need to purchase a Platinum package for groups. Once your purchase is finalised and your account is activated, you can form a group.

 

If you have selected EFT, Bank Draft or International Money Transfer, there is a waiting period for the payment to be processed before your package is activated. You will not be able to form or join a group until your payment is processed.

 

To form a group:

  1. Log into your MedEntry account
  2. On the ‘My MedEntry’ page, click ‘Groups’
  3. Select ‘Form a new group’
  4. Enter the email addresses of the members you want to invite to your group. You need to invite a minimum of one friend.
    • NOTE: You must enter the exact email address that the person has used to register with MedEntry.
  5. Once all email addresses have been added, click ‘Submit’

The members you have invited will receive an invitation via email to join your group.
