About John A McLeod
Dr John MacLeod was born to medical practitioners who served in Scotland’s remote community. He is passionate about rural health. One of his many projects was ‘Island Health’, to network family doctors who are involved in the healthcare of the population of small islands with very few, if any, doctors. Some of his many awards include being the first rural doctor elected to be an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, and being appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire.
